This is a small, low effort demo of Twine's capabilities, and how it may be useful to the DREAMCHILD project. Really, if you want something indepth, go check out one of the IFCOMP entries that were done with Twine.
Twine is an application for creating interactive stories with branching paths. As DREAMCHILD is a RPG with multiple endings, software such as Twine could be helpful for organisation and collaboration storywise, while the end project would still be done in Scratch.
- The story could be playtested independently of the rest of the project. It would not be reliant on any other assets.
- Twine is compatible with Github. Writing can be done offline and then committed to the project whenever the writer has an internet connection again.
But enough of that, I'll show you the branching side of things. Choose a colour.
Blue, Red, or YellowAnother colour.
Purple Ending or Green EndingAnother colour.
Purple Ending or Orange EndingAnother colour.
Orange Ending or Green EndingAnd so you've reached the Purple Ending. I could do something fancy with CSS to make the background purple, but that seems like overkill.
...What do you mean purple's already associated with overkill?
Right. The purple guy. I still think a purple background would be needlessly garish though.
Anyway, there's some stuff I need to say, and I'd rather you see it no matter what ending you're on without having to type it out three times though, so click Final, please. This is the Green ending, found by choosing Blue and Yellow in either order. There are other endings too, you might want to check them out.

Yes I was really lazy with this. First idea I had, didn't want to spend that much time on it because it's all going to be erased eventually.

If usage of Twine/Github is given the greenlight, I will transfer what's avaliable of the script to here. The colour mixing demo will be replaced.
~~Oh, and for future reference, this was done with SugarCube markup, which you can read about here: http://www.motoslave.net/sugarcube/1/docs/markup.html#basic-formatting ~~
